Your bank transactions, synced to your spreadsheet
That's it. That's what Sheetful does. No bloated budgeting app trying to be your financial advisor. Just your transaction data, in the tool you already know how to use: spreadsheets.
Why we built this
We were frustrated. Budgeting tools wanted a monthly subscription just to sync bank transactions, and they came with features we didn't need, like budget templates we wouldn't use, AI insights we didn't ask for, mobile apps that felt clunky.
All we wanted was our transaction data in a spreadsheet so we could analyze it our way. Use our own formulas. Build our own charts. Track what we cared about, not what some PM thought we should care about.
So we built Sheetful. It does one thing well. Sheetful syncs your bank transactions into a Google Sheet or Excel file you own. No bloat. No upsells. Just data where you want it.
We also clean merchant names and write a plain category on every spreadsheet row, so a wall of bank strings is readable and filterable.
Categories start from 200+ built-in merchant rules plus Plaid labels. You can edit categories in your sheet today; custom rules you define are coming soon.
How It Works
Step 1Connect your banks
Link your accounts securely through Plaid, the same service used by Venmo, Betterment, and thousands of fintech apps. We never see your bank credentials.
Step 2Sync automatically
Your transactions sync to Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel automatically every day on Premium, or on demand with Sync Now on Free. No manual CSV exports. No copy-pasting.
Step 3Analyze your way
Use your own formulas, pivot tables, charts, whatever works for you. It's your data, in your spreadsheet.
Why you can trust us
Plaid Partnership
We use Plaid to connect to your banks. It powers Venmo and Robinhood, and 1 in 2 banked adults in the U.S. use it.
Encrypted by Default
Plaid tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; bank access is read-only. Read the details on our Security page.
Read-Only Access
We can only read your transactions. We cannot move money, change accounts, or access your login credentials.
Built by people who needed it
The Sheetful team built this tool because we were tired of paying expensive monthly subscriptions for basic transaction syncing. We wanted a simple, affordable tool that respected our preference for spreadsheets over rigid budgeting apps.
We're not trying to build a fintech empire. We're building a tool we'd want to use, and charging a fair price for it. If that resonates with you, we'd love for you to try Sheetful.
