Sync to Microsoft Excel

Keep your workbook in OneDrive, connect your banks with Plaid, and let Sheetful write transactions into Excel - same idea as Google Sheets, Microsoft-native.

If you live in Excel instead of Sheets, you still want automatic bank feeds - not CSV exports every weekend. Sheetful targets a workbook you choose in your Microsoft 365 space, the same way we target a Google Sheet.

What you need

  • A Microsoft account with access to the Excel file
  • The workbook stored in OneDrive so Sheetful can reach it through Microsoft's APIs
  • Bank connections through Plaid - same read-only flow as the Sheets path; Sheetful never sees your bank password

Setup in a nutshell

  1. Create a Sheetful account and pick a template (Premium can bring its own workbook instead).
  2. Connect your bank via Plaid.
  3. Connect Microsoft / Excel: sign in with Microsoft and select the workbook in OneDrive you want to sync into.
  4. Run sync: transactions land in your Excel tables on the same schedule as Sheets (manual on free tier, automatic daily on Premium - see pricing).

Exact OAuth screens change when Microsoft updates them; the dashboard in Sheetful walks you through the live flow.

Google Sheets instead?

See the Google Sheets sync guide for the longer, CSV-vs-automation walkthrough - most concepts are identical once you pick a destination.
