When your bank needs you
- If a bank connection stops working, you will see a Reconnect button on the Banks page and on your dashboard, and you get one email about it. If it turns out to be a short outage that clears up on its own, we say that too, instead of leaving the button up.
When Google needs you
- If Google needs you to sign in again, the dashboard no longer just shows an old "last synced" date and leaves you to guess why nothing moved. You will see a Reconnect Google button and one email.
When a spreadsheet goes missing
- Delete a spreadsheet, or make it read-only, and Sheetful used to go quiet about it. Now it stays in your list, marked as missing or read-only, with Relink, Create new, and Remove. Your other spreadsheets keep syncing the whole time. Bring one back with Relink and it catches up on everything it missed. Nothing is removed unless you remove it.
What a sync actually did
- After you click Sync Now, the message tells you plainly whether it was your bank or your spreadsheet that had the problem. The same plain wording shows up in your recent activity and your sync history, so you are never left guessing which side needs your attention.
What an import actually did
- Importing a CSV now tells you how many rows came in and how many were skipped. The account column in your spreadsheet reads "CSV Import" or names your bank, and the starter file we offer has clean example rows to copy from.
For several spreadsheets at once
- If you sync more than one spreadsheet, Sheetful now paces how fast it writes to Google so a large setup no longer runs into Google's per-minute limits. Your Accounts and Balance History tabs refresh on a rotation rather than all at once.
